The following describes the functions of Revivo in terms of the Chinese Herbal System and does not imply that Revivo is recommended for any western disease diagnosis.

Revivo contains a number of different herbs which fall into different categories in the Chinese Herbal System, some of them are what we call heat clearing and traditionally used to treat infectious type diseases. Others are supplementary in nature and traditionally used to give strength to the body as well as support the immune system. The principle in Chinese Medicine is that if the body's qi or vital force is strong then pathogens or illnesses cannot invade.
