Opinions differ as to when exactly a person should start antiretroviral drugs. People without any symptoms of infection or a CD4 count above 360 can often wait to start medications. While others experiencing symptoms or having a CD4 count less than 360 should at least consider starting HIV medications. Despite the treatment guidelines, each person is different and needs to be evaluated on their own circumstances. Revivo can be started at any time but if the CD4 count is above 500 and there are no symptoms it does not have to be used everyday, it can be used every second/third day.
